Wonderful Scandinavia

Scandinavië intrigeert mij. Ook al ben ik er nog nooit geweest, het lijken mij kalme en vredevolle landen vol prachtige natuur en stijlvolle mensen. Ik denk dat het enorm cool moet zijn om de koude wintermaanden daar te spenderen in een gezellige blokhut terwijl de open haard je warm houdt. (Yes, I'm dreaming out loud)

Wonderful Scandinavia

I'm a little bit intrigued by Scandinavia. Don't know why exactly, I've never been there, but it seem calm and peaceful countries, with beautiful highlands and stylish people. 
I think it must be pretty cool to spend the cold wintermonths over there in a log cabin, with an amazing view of a lake covered in snow, while you keep yourself warm with a mantelpiece. (Yes, I'm dreaming out loud)

Winter treats

Okay, you're also allowed to eat cupcakes in summertime. But what's better than enjoying a hot chocolate and some sugary dessert, under a warm blanket, when it's freezing outside?

I love food and especially treats, but unfortunately I'm not the best cook (my family is my witness). But after some googling I found out this new thing: the cake pops. 

A cake pop is a cake coated in chocolate and stuck on a lollipop stick. It looks very delicious and I would love to try it out (read: I hope my sister tries it out) in the Christmas holidays.
